Lifestyle Coaching

You need to choose a Life Coach who will really work to understand you, who won’t judge you and who won’t offer patronising quick fixes. People deserve to feel as happy, confident, and fulfilled as possible.

As a Life Coach, I work with clients privately to help them sort through difficult issues and move forward in positive ways.

  • Why does Life Coaching work so well?

You’ll take time out to look in at your life. Together, we will learn exactly why your life is not working the way you want it to.

Together, we’ll also clarify what you do want from your life. You will design inspiring, believable goals for your new life to give you new direction. We will find and remove your hidden beliefs – those that drive your self-limiting behaviours. Our sessions will help you stay focused, positive and on track, fighting any distractions.

You are always in control of the coaching process – you’re in charge, I’m here to help.

  • What is life coaching?

Life coaching aims to help you achieve clarity and confidence to work through issues that hold you back from enjoying a challenging and fulfilling life. Life coaching is not about making simple judgments about someone’s life, then telling that person how they ought to live it.

Both personal experience and social science research have shown that people are the sum of their genes, their life experiences, and the circumstances in which they live their lives. I believe that successful coaching has to be based on an understanding of all these factors and not just focus on superficial behaviours. Effective, true, and authentic coaching is based on the following five principles:

    • Shared feeling of trust and empathy between client and coach
    • Relationship of equality between client and coach
    • Desire on the client’s part to focus on the future, while acknowledging the effects of the past
    • Willingness by the client to work through challenging issues towards; empowerment, self-confidence and a happier, more productive life
    • Belief in their ability to accept themselves and yet make changes that will improve their lives
  • What should I look for in a life coach?

The lack of a reputable accreditation body makes it very difficult to judge the qualifications and expertise of any given coach – I believe that you should trust your instincts!

You need to choose a Life Coach who you think will really work to understand you, who won’t judge you and who won’t offer patronising quick fixes!

  • What can a life coach do for you?

A good Life Coach will offer their clients a safe, yet challenging, environment in which they can explore their feelings and work out what’s bothering them with the help of objective and yet non-judgmental, input. The following describes how I feel my role as a Life Coach should be:

    • Try to really understand both you and the issues you are struggling with
    • Help you regain and maintain self-confidence, self-acceptance and self-belief
    • Encourage you to acknowledge your core strengths
    • Examine your goals, interests, and choices
    • Explore real and perceived stumbling blocks to progress
    • Help you achieve a sense of purpose
    • Help you live a fulfilled and authentic life
  • What is my experience?

My own personal life experience and work experience, along with my qualification as an Advanced Life Coach, have given me a fantastic background and wealth of knowledge about human nature and behaviour’s, from which I can draw from as a Life Coach.
